FAQ

General / product scope

MetaMotion™ is a movement-intelligence ecosystem that combines markerless capture, sensor solutions, clinical workflows and AI analytics to turn motion into actionable health and performance insight.

Our stack includes the MetaMotion™ App, Vitalytics (corporate wellness), a movement-linked Credit Card, the Digital Twin dashboard, Clinic services (gait & movement assessment), LabWork (lab design & operation), Sense (sensor hardware), Insight (advanced analytics) and Recognize (gait recognition).

The clinic runs on a dedicated subdomain: https://clinic.metamotion.sa/. Clinic pages will include bookings, patient portal access, service descriptions and FAQs.

Clinic & patient questions

The Clinic provides initial clinical assessments, 3D gait analysis, clinical (in-clinic) IMU sensor assessments, home-based IMU monitoring, and expert consultations (local and international).

Patients can book via the Clinic subdomain (clinic.metamotion.sa), create a patient account or book as a guest, choose the service, and select a time on the calendar. Confirmations and automated emails follow.

Initial consultation SAR 250; 3D gait analysis SAR 1,600 (2-hour appointment); Clinical-based IMU assessment SAR 350; Home-based IMU package SAR 550. Please check clinic.metamotion.sa for the most current pricing and availability. Fees are subject to change.

A standard 3D gait analysis appointment is approximately two hours, including set-up, capture and initial results review.

Yes. Patients receive a report that can be downloaded from their patient portal and shared with referring clinicians. The portal also stores past and upcoming appointments and invoices.

Clinic has assessed over 25,000 patients in its operational history.

Capture, sensors & LabWork

We support markerless 2D/3D capture and wearable IMU (inertial) sensors. LabWork integrations support lab-grade systems (e.g., Vicon) where required.

MetaMotion™ Sense develops Saudi-branded sensors and integrates IMUs sourced/designed with partners in the UK and Canada according to project files.

LabWork is our service to design, equip, certify and operate motion analysis laboratories for hospitals, universities and sports centres. It includes space planning, equipment selection, operator training and ongoing support.

Digital Twin, App, Vitalytics, Credit Card, Insight

The Digital Twin is the unified dashboard that consolidates activity, Motion Scores, biological age estimates, rewards and clinical metrics for each user – a living profile for monitoring and decision support.

The App tracks activity, delivers gamified motivation, synchronises with sensors and the Digital Twin, and exposes personalised coaching and rewards. It is a bridge between daily activity and clinical/enterprise insights.

Vitalytics is the corporate wellness solution that maps employee activity to health scores and program dashboards, enabling HR and wellness leads to measure ROI and reduce health risk across a workforce.

In partnership with a leading Saudi bank, the planned card links physical activity to cashback and lifestyle benefits – converting movement into financial reward.

Insight is the analytics layer that converts kinematic and kinetic data into risk models, training suggestions and performance optimisation metrics for athletes and organisations.

Recognize (gait recognition) & ethical use

Recognize analyses walking patterns from CCTV to produce gait-based biometric signatures for identity or event detection – typically used in secure facilities, transport hubs, or research contexts. Deployments are customised.

Ethical AI, consent frameworks and anonymisation are core to Recognize deployments. We provide guidance and compliance support for local regulations and international privacy norms. Use cases requiring biometric identification include explicit privacy and legal review.

Data, security & compliance

Platform and portal designs incorporate healthcare-grade controls, secure authentication, encrypted transmission and storage, and compliance considerations aligned with regional data protection requirements. The Digital Ecosystem document highlights PDPL/HIPAA-like guidance for patient portals.

Patients control their portal accounts. Clinical reports can be shared with registered clinicians or third parties only with explicit consent or as required by clinical workflows. Institutional integrations follow agreed data-sharing protocols.

MetaMotion™ emphasises evidence and validation in product design. Clinical validation, pilot projects and lab integrations are part of our roadmap and deployment process; individual product pages reference validation specifics and partner studies. Always check product pages for available validation references.

Enterprise, partners & integrations

Yes. The Digital Ecosystem is designed for third-party integrations (Vicon, banking APIs, insurance systems, government portals and app deep-linking) to enable payments, claims, enterprise dashboards and synchronous accounts.

Yes – we run pilot programmes to prove integration, measure outcomes and define ROI for corporate wellness and performance customers. Pilots often feed into larger roll-outs with dashboards and reporting.

LabWork includes operator training and certification. We offer onboarding, clinical workflow training and ongoing operations support for clinics and enterprise customers.

Commercial / billing

Clinic bookings support online calendar booking, payments (card/clinic payments) and invoicing. Enterprise contracts include subscription and integration billing models. Payment integrations and rewards systems are part of the Digital Ecosystem plan.

Reimbursement pathways depend on local payor rules and the clinical service; corporate and clinical programmes are designed to connect with insurance workflows where possible. Specific reimbursement guidance should be confirmed with your insurer and clinic.

Research, publications & credibility

Yes. MetaMotion™ collaborates with academic partners and clinical sites for validation, pilots and research-driven deployments through LabWork and Clinic partnerships.

Clinical validation references and pilot outcomes are described on product and resource pages. Request clinical summaries or published study links when you schedule a demo.

Quick practical lines (what to do next)

Schedule a demo or contact the partnerships team via info@metamotion.com or the contact forms on the corporate site and clinic subdomain. Pilot scoping and integration details are handled through the Demo / Partnerships workflow.

Yes – the patient portal provides secure report access, appointment history, invoices and progress tracking. It’s part of the clinic deployment.
